1) Installation of the transponders :

- The transponder is mounted in the car with the help of nylon cable ties; its wire is connected to a free output of the car radio receiver.

- With a single detection rod, the distance between the installed transponder and the rod must be less than 7cm / 2.7" (critical detection = 11cm / 4.3").
- With a doubled detection rod, the distance between the installed transponder and the rod must be less than 11cm / 4.3" (critical detection = 15cm / 5.9").

- No ferrous or steel parts must lie between the transponder and the detection rod (the aluminum chassis/parts are not an issue).
